About KHAAR
KHAAR – touching the dreams of youth: Virtuality x Reality.
KHAAR is made from two words: the name of Ngô Hoàng Kha and “AR” short for “Augmented Reality” together with “And Recycling” representing the brand’s determination for a more sustainable way of doing fashion.
KHAAR is a phygital brand (combining digital / virtuality and physical / reality). We make real physical clothing recycling fabrics from the fashion and textile industry as well as 3D virtual clothing to augment and diversify the virtual fashion wearing and owning experience in the time of Web3 and Metaverse. Virtual 3D design also helps with optimisation, cutting cost and waste of materials and human resources during the design and making process of fashion. Lastly, virtual 3D shows great power in visualisation in a virtual environment.
KHAAR is a real-life dream of a designer who follows his three core-value: Vietnamese inspiration, recycling & upcycling, and 3D virtual design. The values are reflected in the careful labour of our artisans in recreating local culture through making clothes from collecting and recycling fabric scraps, to realise the designer’s vision. The help received from technology aids preventing waste in making KHAAR products.
These three values also lay a concrete foundation for KHAAR to weave the sensual dream of youth through textiles and design, offering fashion connoisseurs a fresh yet culturally relevant experience in fashion – visioning a more sustainable future of fashion.
